Jona Partners with Fullscript to Expand Practitioner Access to Gut Microbiome Testing

Partnership brings Jona’s AI-powered microbiome insights to Fullscript’s practitioner community

NEW YORK, October 5, 2026 — Jona, an AI-powered gut microbiome company, today announced a partnership with Fullscript, a healthcare platform for whole person care, to expand practitioner access to gut microbiome testing.

Through the partnership, Jona’s Gut Microbiome Analysis will be available through Fullscript, giving practitioners access to detailed microbiome data and evidence-based interpretation to support personalized care. Jona combines shotgun metagenomic sequencing with AI trained on more than 220,000 scientific studies to help practitioners interpret relationships between the gut microbiome and human health.

“Microbiome science has advanced tremendously, but translating that rapidly growing body of research into something useful at the point of care remains a major challenge,” said Leo Grady, PhD, Founder and CEO of Jona. “Our goal at Jona is to make the microbiome actionable, not just measurable. Partnering with Fullscript allows us to put microbiome intelligence into the hands of more practitioners and help them incorporate this emerging field of science into personalized patient care.”

Research continues to uncover associations between the gut microbiome and numerous aspects of human health, including gastrointestinal, metabolic, cardiovascular, neurological, immune and dermatologic health. Yet the volume and complexity of microbiome research can make it challenging for clinicians to connect an individual patient’s microbiome data with relevant scientific evidence.

Jona helps practitioners navigate that complexity by bringing microbiome data and scientific evidence together in an interactive platform. Clinicians can explore microbiome-linked health associations, functional microbiome activity and clinical stool biomarkers, and use Jona’s Digital Twin to model how dietary, lifestyle and probiotic interventions may shift an individual patient’s microbiome. These insights help practitioners set personalized goals and tailor an action plan to each patient.

“Practitioners are increasingly looking for ways to incorporate microbiome insights into personalized care,” said Ben Walters, GM of Labs at Fullscript. “We’re excited to welcome Jona as the first new lab we’re introducing since bringing Rupa Health into Fullscript. Jona’s combination of comprehensive microbiome testing and AI-powered interpretation gives practitioners a new way to explore microbiome insights as part of individualized care.”

The Jona Gut Microbiome Analysis will be available through Fullscript beginning October 5, 2026.
